Working Principle
The primary function of the backwash valve is to reverse the flow of water to effectively clean the filter. Upon receiving a backwash signal, the valve automatically reconfigures the flow path: it shuts off the incoming contaminated water while simultaneously opening a discharge line. This allows clean, filtered water from the rest of the system to enter the filter backward, forcefully dislodging trapped particles and flushing them out through the newly opened drain.
