Hurricanefilt is a type of screen filter. Particles accumulate on the inner screen surface as water passes through the screen. These particles are cleaned by the water vortex during filtration. This vortex removes particles from the screen surface during filtration and supports the backwashing process. Hurricanefilt has a vortex flow. This vortex flow occurs thanks to the helix at the inlet. The particles on the screen surface are swept away and transmitted to the drain by the vortex flow. The particles accumulate in front of the drain. When the backwashing starts, the particles are immediately discharged from the filter.
