At Aytok, we view our expertise in filtration technologies not merely as a commercial endeavor, but as an integral part of our responsibility to protect and preserve water resources for future generations. We integrate environmental sustainability into the core of our corporate strategy and ensure that all our operations are conducted in harmony with the environment.

In this context, we commit to the following principles:

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (OHS) POLICY

At Aytok, we consider the health and safety of our employees—our most valuable asset—as our primary priority. With the goal of "Zero Work Accidents and Zero Occupational Diseases," we commit to:

  • Effectively implementing a system that meets the requirements of the OHS Management System and aims for continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring full compliance with all legal regulations and other relevant OHS requirements.
  • Strengthening our "Safety Culture" by ensuring all employees are trained and well-informed on health and safety matters.
  • Encouraging the active participation and consultation of our employees and employee representatives in OHS processes.
  • Ensuring that our employees, suppliers, and visitors strictly adhere to the established OHS rules.
  • Providing safe and healthy working environments to prevent work-related injuries and health impairments.
  • Identifying risks that may lead to accidents or occupational diseases in advance and eliminating those hazards at their source.
  • Regularly measuring OHS performance and sustaining continuous improvement activities.
  • Closely monitoring technological developments and making necessary investments to enhance workplace safety.

CODE OF ETHICS AND CONDUCT

1. Introduction
At AYTOK, we adopt ethical standards that guide the actions and decisions of all our employees in the workplace. This Policy has been prepared to protect our company’s core values and to promote an environment of trust, honesty, and mutual respect in the business environment.

2. Purpose
The objectives of this Policy are:

  • To establish a harmonious and respectful working environment among employees,
  • To enhance reliability in relationships with our customers and business partners,
  • To encourage ethical behavior and apply sanctions for inappropriate conduct,
  • To instill an ethical culture across all employees under the leadership of Senior Management within the framework of these principles and rules of conduct.

3. Core Values

  • Justice: We treat our employees, customers, and business partners fairly.
  • Respect: We respect individual differences and reject all forms of discrimination.
  • Transparency: We act openly and honestly in all information and communication processes.

4. Employee Responsibilities
Our employees are expected to act in accordance with the following ethical rules:

a. Professional Ethics: Demonstrating an honest, responsible, and professional attitude in accordance with professional ethical principles.
b. Workplace Conduct:

  • Treating colleagues and external stakeholders with respect and courtesy; avoiding gossip and similar negative attitudes,
  • Refraining from any form of physical, verbal, sexual, or emotional harassment,
  • Avoiding discrimination against colleagues, customers, and business partners.
    c. Company Interests:
  • Protecting company interests and assets; using resources efficiently and solely for business purposes,
  • Avoiding conflicts of interest and reporting such situations to Senior Management,
  • Understanding and meeting customer needs; providing accurate and complete information to customers,
  • Refraining from any behavior that could damage the company's reputation,
  • Continuously improving the quality of products, services, and business processes.
    d. Confidentiality:
  • Protecting confidential information and documents belonging to the company or its stakeholders; not sharing these with anyone without permission from Senior Management; maintaining this confidentiality even after resignation or termination of employment,
  • Respecting the privacy of personal information such as salaries and benefits of other employees; not attempting to obtain or share such information. In case of a breach, disciplinary processes will be applied, which may result in the termination of the employment contract.
    e. Environment and Society: Operating in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.
    f. Legal Compliance:
  • Complying with all local, national, and international laws and regulations,
  • Acting in accordance with Competition Law and Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption policies,
  • Storing and not sharing personal data of stakeholders in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK/GDPR).

5. Reporting Ethical Violations

  • Employees are expected to act responsibly when they encounter an unethical situation and are encouraged to consult their unit managers/directors as a priority. However, if a resolution is not reached or if deemed necessary, the situation may be reported to Senior Management via the internal notification boxes.
  • The right to report is guaranteed, and all notifications will be evaluated with strict confidentiality.

6. Measures in Case of Violation
In the event of a violation of ethical rules, the following steps are taken:

  1. Investigation: Allegations are examined in detail.
  2. Warning and Training: For minor violations, the employee is warned and, if necessary, provided with training.
  3. Disciplinary Measures: For serious violations, sanctions such as written warnings, job reassignment, or termination of the employment contract may be applied.

7. Raising Awareness
It is of great importance that our employees understand the Code of Ethics and Conduct adopted by our company and act accordingly. To this end:

  • The Code of Ethics and Conduct will be shared with all employees in writing.
  • Employees are expected to sign a commitment stating that they have read, understood, and will comply with these principles.
  • By reading this policy, it is aimed to increase the ethical awareness of our employees.

8. Monitoring and Updating the Policy
This Policy will be reviewed regularly to continuously improve the company's ethical standards.
